Missing Fall Already! The Recoulle Family [Savannah Family Photographer]
Confession time! I have slacked with blogging the past few months, but for good reason! I finally took some time off after some of the busiest months (both work wise and personally wise). BUT. Vacation is done, and I’m back to it as we prepare to move from Tennessee to Georgia NEXT MONTH! Y’all, I’m so excited for all that the Savannah scenery has to offer picture-wise, but also for the change it means for my family! 🙌🏻 The new job my husband has should hopefully be a bit less busy, which means we will have him home more and for longer periods of time, yay! But of course, with moving comes both stress and sadness… I’m nervous about getting all set up again in a new location, as well as sad to be leaving such amazing clients in Tennessee. The good part is, many of the families I’ve served are military too, so the chances of seeing them again in the future are an actual real possibility….because as we say, “it’s a small Army!”
Ok, all that aside.. back to this family’s session. Elizabeth, Nate, and sweet little Ellie are dear friends that we will be sad to say “see you later” too, but I’m crossing my fingers that we will see them again. I loved getting to take their family photos this past fall for what Elizabeth called a “basic fall sesh” (since we got kinda basic with the sunflowers and pumpkin patch). But literally neither of us cared one bit that we were being “basic” about it at all. Can you tell that I’m already missing the beauty of fall during these long, dreary winter months? I’m also so looking forward to experiencing the different fall weather that Georgia has to offer this coming year.
