I had the pleasure of meeting this adorable family this past year for their family photos before Dad deployed, so getting to have them all in front of my camera again to capture some memories for little man’s first birthday was SUCH a treat! I just adore them, and this birthday cake smash session went off SMASHINGLY… see what I did there? Haha!

I’ve been SO busy that I haven’t had time to keep up with my blog the past month and I feel horrible that I haven’t, because in the past four weeks I have had OVER ten sessions y’all! Thats like almost three a week! And of those ten, I’d say about half of them were military homecoming/redeployment ceremonies where times of flights changed a hundred times and were at ALL hours of the day. Plus… this past month (September) I had to go home because my sweet momma fought her fight against pancreatic cancer and is now my guardian angel in heaven. To say this month has been exhausting and emotionally trying is an understatement, so I’m sure you will all forgive me for not keeping my blog as up to date as I’d like!

So to kick off me trying to get it going again, I could think of no better session then Parker’s birthday. With his trusty pup Bentley by his side, and a delicious chocolate cake that he LOVED, it’s safe to say I’m obsessed with all his photos. So without further ado… enjoy some of my faves below! 💙
